I looked around the auditorium , my dark blonde hair bounced back every-time I looked at someone. My locks were curled today , and only for today. Today was the day that school was over for me and my friends. I was waiting patiently for my dipomla . Matt looked over at me and gave me a smile. I smiled back , finally four years of being in Locross was finally paying off.
" Abigail Lawson please come up and recevie your diploma ! " Principal Carson spoke , she had a big smile on her face.
My hazel eyes went big and I got out of my seat and walked up to the stage. My tan short flowly dress flowed as I walked . I hated Mrs.Carson she always didn't like me for some reason. Maybe it was because I ended up in her office more than I was in class .. that is probably right. As I walked up the stairs my heels made noise , I looked at everyone and Lacey,Aspen and Grace had big smiles on their faces. I received my diploma and held it in the air , I was finally free. I wanted to flip off my principal so badly but I decided not to , how nice I'm I know. Time had passed before I knew it , it was already time to leave for the day. All my friends and I rode out to the beach.
" I can't wait to leave this place and finally be on my own " Grace spoke and her dark hair was messy because of the wind.
" I am glad I don't have to wake up to Mrs.Carson's face every morning " I joked and all the girls laughed at us.
Aspen's cheeks flushed red as Carter made his way towards her. Following behind him was Matt , Austin and Bailey. Aspen had a crush on Carter since 9th grade , they never hooked up but they should. We all beamed when our boyfriends came .
" Are Y'all ready for the road trip ? " Matt spoke to all of us.
Hawaii was the place to be . We all saved our money since sophomore year to pay for this trip. We wanted to live it up their , since we are all 18 and legally can leave our homes. We all knew how much we would spend of gas and such. We were all going to move in together , it sounds like fun hopefully it wont become an disaster.
" Are you stupid or something ? " Lacey joked around with Matt.
I walked over to matt and had my hands around his waist. We have been dating for a good two years. I held on to him , and he placed his hands on my hands. I went on my tippy toes to reach his shoulder and I placed my head on his shoulder. Matt carefully picked me up and had my pressed against his chest. I looked up at him , he kept eyeing at the water then looking back at me.
" Matthew Jared Colton ! NO! " I laughed and yelled.
" Abigail Nicole Lawson Yes! " he yelled back at me and laughed.
Matt made his way over to the water , even with me moving around in his arms. My hazel eyes went big and he was in the water with me. We got deep enough that the cold Georgia waters was at my waist. I looked up at Matt , and I stared at his gorgeous ocean blue eyes.
" So are you going to leave me when you find some Hawaiian girl " I joked around and spoke with a southern accent.
" Probably not , since I can't stand being with-out you Abs " Matt smiled and kissed my cheeks.
I looked out by the beach and I noticed Bailey was making a fire. Also , I noticed Grace and Aspen just came back from somewhere since Aspen's car was just coming in. Grace held out the grocery bags out the window. The only thing I could think of was ' Smores ' , I gave Matt puppy dog eyes to go back to the sand.
" Fine then lets get some smores , but I want smore of you later" Matt joked around and he walked back out to the beach with me in his arms.
I got out of his arms , and my dark blonde hair was darker now since the water. I ran over to Grace and Aspen by the logs sitting down. I reached in the grocery bag and grabbed some graham crackers , chocolate pieces and a marshmallow . Matt called me over and we both made smores together.
